Mock Draft
Recently I released my Mock Draft here is why I have players going to certain spots some reasons may be short and sweet some will be more in depth.
Travis Hunter ATH Titians- I think here we see a generational talent go at number one overall I could see Tennessee getting a QB as well however using Hunter as a main component of receiver to complement Ridley and Pollard could help their offense and later integrate him into the offense plus I can see a late round QB helping the Titians later in the draft.
Cam Ward QB Browns- Deshaun Watson is not the answer in Cleveland they will do something similar to what Denver did with the Bo Nix, Russell Wilson situation cut Watson draft Ward and eat the Watson money. Ward can help in the building process of the Browns.
Sheduer Sanders QB Giants- Daboll loves Sanders its as simple as that and pair him with Malik Nabers and some OL later in the draft and another late sneaky receiver Giants could be good.
Josh Simons OT Jags- Protect Trevor Lawrence NOW this man needs to be upright to do anything protect him and get him some sneaky late steal receivers
Abdul Carter Edge Patriots- Mike Vrabel is a defensive guy and to pressure guys like Allen, Rodgers and Tua go get arguably the best edge rusher in the draft.
Tetairoa McMillan WR Raiders- Pete Carroll is going to want a QB with experience expect them to address that in free agency get that guy another option outside of Brock Bowers. (Justin Fields?)
Kelvin Banks OT Jets- Protect Rodgers. That’s it give him time to make Rodgers type plays
Jalon Walker LB Panthers- Stop the run at all costs
Will Johnson CB Saints- Stop the pass Baker, Young and Penix will let it fly
Josh Conerly Jr OT Bears- Protect Caleb Willams he can not reach his potential behind an O-Line that killed Justin Fields.
Will Cambell OT 49ers- Protect Purdy and give CMC some oline help.
Ashton Jeanty RB Cowboys- Yeah yeah typical but there is receivers and NO RB take the pressure off of Dak.
Malaki Starks S Dolphins- Stop Allen and Rodgers from throwing it all over the yard
Luther Burden III WR Colts- Give Richardson a number one target with a good sneaky surprise receiver.
Mykel Willams Edge Falcons- Pressure the QB’s in your division and conference
Tyler Booker G Cardinals- Cards need a lot but start with a line to protect Murray
Deonte Lawson LB Bengals- STOP THE RUN YOU ARE IN THE AFC NORTH
Donovan Jackson OG Seahawks- Build a line for a run game to help Geno Smith out.
Nick Emmanwori S Bucs- Need a strong secondary to compete for the NFC
Cam Skattebo RB Broncos- They could use a TE here but there is no clear number one RB in this organization and Skattebo is second most proved back behind Jeanty if Jeanty is available though do not be surprised.
Emeka Egbuka WR Steelers- Help out whoever it is under center and not have Pickens as your WR1.
Tyler Warren TE Chargers- Big body pass catcher for Herbert Yes indeed
JT Tuimolau Edge Packers- Passing division pressure helps slow that down
Benjamin Morrison CB Vikings- Lockdown DB to lockdown top receivers also a good way to stop the pass
Cameron Willams OT Texans- Oline was a bit of concern this year for the Texans adding Willams helps them out with the run game a little more for Mixon.
Jonah Savaiinaea OT Rams- Help protect Stafford a bit more adding a Whitworth type player with this pick
Benjamin Morrison CB Ravens- Stop Mahomes and Allen? Lockdown DB on their top pass catchers
Jack Sawyer OLB Lions- Send the Ohio State legend to the Lions to help with outside contain and edge rushing in the division. Line him up opposite of Hutchinson.
Nic Scoutron DE Commanders- Beef up the line to stop a run heavy division and good passing qb division and conference.
Xavier Watts S Bills- Want to bear Mahomes ? Ball Hawking Safety can help
Maxwell Harrison CB Eagles- Secondary is a huge problem for the Eagles and they will why in the Super Bowl
Mason Graham DT Chiefs- Coming off their 3rd straight Super Bowl a little help for Chris Jones on the interior can help the now three time defending champs run it back.
